Am wondering about exterior colors for painting my rectangular ranch home.
Am thinking about using a warm beige for body of house, all white trim,
including shutters, with a red front door.Any suggestions???
That sounds good to me.
Great colors, but I think I would use a burgandy door or barn
red instead. Shutters might look nice with same color as door. Good luck!
It will turn out nice.
I like what you have chosen. Sounds good to me.
i would paint the shutters red as well for more accent
Those are rather traditional colors and will look nice. You
could also do a Navy Blue Door with that scheme
pineapple yellow with navy trim and white highlights.
Actually that sounds very nice(you mean a ranch red don't
you?). One should never chose more than three colors(an old timer once
told me this, something about throwing off our eye cordination???). Made
sense to me and works.
Hmm.I think your idea sounds good but I wouldn't be afraid to
change the warm beige to something a little more bold. After all, that is
the style of these homes. (I lived in SW Arizona for 14 years) Here is a
link to a book you might want to buy to help with the project:

OK, but leave out the red front door, you don't want peeps
thinking it is one of those houses
